US Pavilion Asia Fruit Logistica 2010

Argentina, Peru and the US have significantly increased their country pavilion sizes by 60 per cent, 48 per cent and 32 per cent respectively at this year's Asia Fruit Logistica, reflecting their growing interest in the vibrant Asian market.

More than 320 exhibitors from 32 countries around the world will be at the event, Asia's leading fresh produce trade show, which takes place on 7-9 September at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, looking to make the best contacts in the region and beyond.

'The US exhibitors found very high-quality buyers at the show last year,' said Sharon Wong, organiser of the US pavilion at Asia Fruit Logistica. 'Paramount Farms, Paramount Citrus, POM Wonderful and Wonderful Pistachios have all increased their booth sizes this time round to reflect this.'

For Argentina, there is a clear aim in increasing the size of its pavilion this year. 'One of the most important objectives is to gain permission to export lemons to China,' noted Argentina's pavilion organiser Patricio Pizzoglio. 'We know that the best way to find importers/distributors in Asia is by going to Asia Fruit Logistica.'

Asia Fruit Logistica runs alongside Asiafruit Congress, Asia's leading fresh produce conference event.
