Cool Fresh International has announced the introduction of Peruvian minneolas to its Freedom Fruit range, which was launched in 2005.
The citrus fruit is being sourced through an exclusive supply partnership with the Huamani Group – a Peruvian company dedicated to the production of citrus, asparagus and table grapes, with more than 17 years’ experience.
“The Tangelo Minneola has a unique flavour – it’s sweet, aromatic and juicy,” the company said in a press release.
“It has a great colour, and a smooth peel which is easy to remove. The fruit has a high percentage of juice, which has a very high vitamin C content.”
Cool Fresh has already shipped a substantial programme of Peruvian minneolas directly to various markets, such as Finland, the UK, France, the Ukraine and the Netherlands, and claims the response from its clients has been “great”.
“With this product, we have again proudly extended the range of products which are available in our premium brand,” the group explained.
Cool Fresh’s Freedom Fruit range is recognised for its top quality and currently comprises fruit from 12 countries, including Turkey, China, Argentina and Namibia.
