Schanzer boasts extensive experience; prior to Plumrose USA, he co-founded and was chief executive officer of Global Fresh Foods, a technology provider that naturally extends the shelf life of fresh proteins. "His extensive sales, marketing, and executive management background, as well as his significant retail and fresh food experience, will be invaluable to our board of directors, particularly as we grow our worldwide customer base and expand beyond fresh produce."
Schanzer joins Dr Fred Grauer, chairman, Bill Elmore, Jeb Miller, Mike Sherman and Dr Westcott on the Purfresh board of directors.
"Around the world, Purfresh is recognised for its quality and innovative technologies, and it's an honour to the join the board of directors," said Schanzer.
