Turners & Growers has appointed Sarah McCormack as its general manager of sales and marketing diversified.
McCormack is currently the apple category manager of Turners & Growers’ export subsidiary, Delica Limited. Turners & Growers CEO Alastair Hulbert said McCormack comes into the role with a wealth of experience in developing international markets, specifically marketing ENZA apple varieties into Asia, Middle East and India.
“Sarah has built and maintained strong working relationships across the business which will be well utilised in her new role,” Hulbert said. “She will be a valuable addition to the Turners & Growers executive team.”
McCormack will lead the international sales functions of Delica, Delica Affiliates and Pacific Island exports. She will also play a leading role in the global category management of Turners & Growers diversified products portfolio alongside Damien Gibson, general manager diversified category.
McCormack’s new role is effective immediately, however, the company has assured there will be a transition period to ensure a smooth end to the apple season into Asia.
