Bonduelle has reported that turnover for the full-year of 2013/14 increased 5.5 per cent in organic growth terms on the previous year, up to €1.9bn.

the improvement was driven by both an improved European performance, where organic growth of 2.3 per cent in turnover took the group to €1.28bn, and a continually strong non-European display, with an improvement in turnover of 12.4 per cent to €640m.

"Based on the excellent performance of the commercial activity in quarter 4, the current operting income shall reach the upper end of the bracket, increased in February 2014, to €106-€107m at constant exchange rates," the group's yearly outlook report stated.

"Despite Northern America suffered from a late winter and high rainfall, everywhere the crops are satisfactory and should enable to reach the production programme set for summer 2014, especially high due to a very low stock level at the start of the campaign."
