Exhibiting for its eight year, the Peruvian pavilion has increased its presence at this year’s Asia Fruit Logistica (AFL), Asia’s leading fresh produce trade show.
With a range of exporters and associations exhibiting under the Peru banner as well as 18 additional exhibitors, the Latin American nation’s exhibitors are keen to increase business and explore new trade opportunities across Asia over the course of the three-day trade show on 2-4 September in Hong Kong.
On top of more than 30 member companies, organisations to be represented at the event include Agrícola Challapampa, Camposol, DanPer Trujillo, Ecosac Agrícola, Fundo Sacramento, El Pedregal, Peruvian Agritrade, Procesos Agroindustriales – Proagro, White Lion Foods. Industry associations Apem, Peru Citrus, Provid and Avocados from Peru will also be present.
The national pavilion is organised by the Association of Peruvian Agrarian Producers Guilds (Agap) and the German-Peruvian Chamber of Commerce with support from the Peru Export and Tourism Board (PromPero), the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism (Mincetur), the Ministry of Agriculture and Irrigation (Minagri) and Intercorp/Interbank.
Peru is one of 21 countries hosting national pavilions at this year’s event, which will take place at AsiaWorld-Expo, Hong Kong on 2-4 September.
