Asiafruitchina.net provides high-quality daily news and information for Chinese readers

Asiafruit, Asia’s leading supplier of news and analysis for the international fresh fruit and vegetable business, has launched its new Chinese-language website.

Asiafruitchina.net has gone live this week, providing high-quality daily news and information for Chinese readers, and a central portal for Asiafruit’s Chinese-language services.

Asiafruit, which is celebrating 20 years as Asia’s only dedicated fresh produce publication in 2015, launched its Chinese language news service – Asiafruit News – earlier this year.

Asiafruit News has been providing high-quality content for Chinese readers in Mandarin via a biweekly e-newsletter and Asiafruit’s WeChat platform since March 2015.

“In the space of just a few months, our Chinese-language service has gained thousands of subscribers. It’s helped to connect many companies from China with international partners, and enabled them to build relationships,” said Asiafruit’s China editor Yuxin Yang.

“The new website is not only an exciting addition to our Chinese-language service, it also acts a virtual centre for all Asiafruit’s Chinese-language platforms, giving readers a comprehensive service to keep them informed of industry developments locally and globally.”

Asiafruit is part of Fruitnet Media International, the world’s leading fresh produce publisher and conference event organiser, whose titles also include Eurofruit, Americafruit, Produce Plus, Fresh Produce Journal and Fruchthandel Magazine.

As well as covering the key market developments in China, Asiafruitchina.net features a selection of stories, comment and analysis from Fruitnet’s global network of reporters to keep Chinese-speaking professionals informed of the most important news and developments for their business.

“With the official launch of Asiafruitchina.net, Asiafruit is more dedicated than ever to the Chinese market,” Yang added. “The website is updated daily, and subscribers will see more frequent newsletter and WeChat services.”

Asiafruit’s advertising manager Kate Riches said that Asiafruitchina.net, together with Asiafruit News, provided highly effective advertising channels, both for local Chinese companies and for international players looking to increase their penetration in the fast-growing Chinese market.

“We offer a quality and reliable platform for companies to promote their business through banner advertising including professional translation and graphic design services,” said Riches.
