APL was named ‘Best Shipping Line in the Trans-Pacific’ at the 2017 Asian Freight, Logistics and Supply Chain Awards last night in Singapore.
The global shipping line was recognised for its service quality, innovation and reliability in the category, as well as its customer service.
Nicolas Sartini, APL chief executive, said receiving the award was a “resounding vote of confidence from our customers and industry stakeholders in APL and our suite of services that are catered for our stronghold Trans-Pacific market”.
“Amidst on-going industry consolidation and evolution, APL has differentiated ourselves by providing shippers the much-needed predictability through reliable and quality services. APL will build upon this trust placed in us as we further pursue excellence for our next lap of growth.”
APL operates 22 services in the Trans-Pacific, including 18 services as part of the Ocean Alliance, which the company says offer the widest market coverage and superior connectivity from Asia to the US.
