New blueberry campaign underway in US

The US Highbush Blueberry Council is encouraging shoppers to 'Grab a Boost of Blue' through targeted Youtube adverts

The US Highbush Blueberry Council (USHBC) has launched a series of Youtube adverts targeting "overwhelmed young families and fun-loving freshness fans", encouraging them to choose blueberries on their next shopping trip.

The 15- and 30-second adverts feature three different concepts and can be seen on Facebook, Youtube and through pre-roll including SmartTV apps like Hulu, ESPN, Food Network and HGTV.

According to the USHBC, each advert is designed to connects the physical and emotional benefits of blueberries -– health, simplicity, and taste – to busy lifestyles.

“Grab a Boost of Blue is an inspiring and motivating call-to-action for consumers, and something the entire blueberry industry can get behind," explained USHBC president Kasey Cronquist.

"These new Grab a Boost of Blue advertisements will continue to drive demand for blueberries, reminding consumers that the possibilities are endless when you add blueberries to your lifestyle."
