Demand for exhibition space from new and existing exhibitors alike will mean that Asia's leading trade show for the fresh fruit and vegetable business is set to grow still further when it returns to Hong Kong in September next year.
ASIA FRUIT LOGISTICA takes place on 2-4 September 2009 at Hong Kong's Convention and Exhibition Centre. The campaign to promote next year's three-day trade fair and conference event was launched this week in over 100 countries worldwide.
"ASIA FRUIT LOGISTICA has clearly established itself as Asia’s fresh produce hub," said Gérald Lamusse, managing director of Global Produce Events GmbH, the joint-venture company that organises the international fresh produce trade fair.
"There are already some very positive signs for ASIA FRUIT LOGISTICA in September 2009: exhibitors from all five continents are looking to step up their presence, while new exhibitors such as Chile, one of the world's largest exporters of fresh fruit, plan to use the trade fair as a focal point for their marketing activities in Asia next year," Mr Lamusse explained.
Some 215 exhibitors from 33 countries worldwide took part at ASIA FRUIT LOGISTICA during September this year, with many giving the fair a very high rating, according to independent research. The event brought together over 3,800 trade visitors from 57 countries, 92 per cent of whom were involved in key purchasing and procurement roles in their respective businesses.
ASIA FRUIT LOGISTICA is organised alongside the ASIAFRUIT CONGRESS, Asia’s only international fresh produce conference organised by Asiafruit Magazine. The three-day conference, which each year attracts some 650 delegates from all over the world, focuses on key themes of interest for today's fresh fruit and vegetable business in Asia.
