Disney Imagination Farms

Imagination Farms has taken the Disney Garden brand to a new level by announcing the creation of a special kids destination for value added products at US supermarkets.

To draw parents and children to produce departments, Imagination Farms is rolling out Disney-themed, 4ft refrigerated sections at the point of sale.

“Kids today have over US$20bn in purchase power and influence…most of which is food,” Melinda Goodman, director of marketing at Imagination Farms commented in a press release. “Kids are looking for products made just for them, so an opportunity to feature some of the healthiest products in the store in a kids destination is a win-win-win for everyone. Kids get healthy products, retailers capture the power of the young consumer and we all get to influence and promote the consumption of more fruits and vegetables among children.”

According to Imagination Farms, some retailers who have incorporated Disney produce stands into their produce departments, with both point-of-sale and promotional support, have already reported double digit growth across multiple value added Disney Garden SKUs (stock keeping units).

The Disney Garden range offers a variety of healthy food options, including Foodles, Fresh Veggies & Sauce, Lunchbox Items, Quicksnacks with Dip and Pixie Sweet Corn to name a few.

Imagination Farms markets Disney and Disney Garden-branded fresh produce in the US, Canada and Mexico and offers a range of both organic and conventionally grown products, supplied by leading domestic and international growers and exporters.
