The United Fresh Produce Association has launched its new online virtual marketplace, a site designed to display product information across hundreds of categories from over 220 different companies – including those exhibiting at the upcoming United Fresh 2009 convention.

Visitors to the site can use it to navigate through different product or service types, send messages to companies and register for product updates.

'The United Fresh virtual marketplace takes annual trade show experience to a new level of value for our exhibitors and attendees,' said United Fresh president and CEO Tom Stenzel. 'Exhibitors have a powerful online destination site to display their goods and services to interested parties worldwide and year-round.

'We believe United Fresh has created a breakthrough moment in produce trade shows, which can expand our industry's ability to drive both innovation and profitability,' he added.

Visitors can view the United Fresh virtual marketplace at http://virtualmarketplace.unitedfresh.org, and can view the latest news on United fresh 2009, which takes place in Las Vegas on 21-24 April, at www.unitedfreshshows.com.
