US-based PakSense has announced the creation of a direct sales and distribution presence in Santiago, Chile under the banner PakSense South America.
The packaging specialist has launched the operation to provide local sales and technical support for PakSense temperature monitoring labels in South America.
Operations will be lead by industry veteran Rodrigo Alberto Aliaga Silva, who has spent nearly 20 years in the region's agricultural markets, including spells at Sensitech and David del Curto.
'South America is strategically important to PakSense due to the sheer amount of fruit and vegetable exports from the area,' said PakSense CEO David Light. 'We look forward to serving this market with the most innovative temperature monitoring solution available on the market today.'
