Monterey, Calif.-based Salyer American Fresh Foods has announced in a press release it will join forces with Marie’s Dressing – a leading brand of refrigerated salad dressing – for two salad-based promotions in the US during May and July.

The first initiative will take place around National Salad Month in May when the duo will work with select retailers nationwide to offer a US$1-off coupon and a complimentary recipe featuring Iceberg Lettuce and Marie’s Chunky Blue Cheese Dressing.

Available in select retailers nationwide, the coupon for Marie’s Dressing will be valid with the purchase of a head of American Classic Iceberg.

The second promotion will feature Salyer’s American Classic Romaine and Romaine Hearts and Marie’s Caesar Dressing for the National Caesar Salad Day 4 July campaign, which will also offer US$1-off coupons and a recipe for in select retailers nationwide.

During the two promotions, consumers can visit the Salyer American website to download recipes using American Classic Iceberg, Romaine and Romaine Hearts lettuce paired with Marie’s Dressings.

Retailers participating in the promotion will also have access to merchandising display tips, printed recipe cards for their customers and point-of-purchase materials.
