BioBenessere

A promotional campaign, implemented by The Association of Biological and Biodynamic Producers of Emilia Romagna (Pro.B.E.R) and jointly funded by the Italian government and the European Union, lands in California this week for two days of presentations and workshops.

The BioBenessere promotion will display Italian-grown organic produce in Oakland, California on 5-6 June, with the aim of underlining the characteristics of organic products in terms of quality, food safety, production methods, nutrition and health, labelling and the environment.

Ignazio Cirronis, president of the Italian Union of Organic Producers, will present the project on 5 June followed by a tasting workshop, with Maria Chiara Medda, president of the Sardinian Association of Organic Producers doing likewise on 6 June.

The events are aimed at consumers and restaurateurs with a view to creating new distribution opportunities and increasing consumption, according to Pro.B.E.R.
