California-based table grape Pandol recently hosted a companywide health fair at the local American Slavonic Social Club to not only highlight the many advantages of committing to a healthy lifestyle but to facilitate the interaction within the local medical community.
“We are very focused on the health and well being of our employees” said company president and CEO David Dever in a press release. “They are the life blood of this organization. With so many generations who have been dedicated to us, we want to assist in their commitment to a healthy lifestyle for them and their families.”
Pandol hosted a companywide health fair at the local American Slavonic Social Club to not only highlight the many advantages of committing to a healthy lifestyle but to facilitate the interaction within the local medical community.
Hundreds of Pandol employees and their families were able to get free health screenings, learn about child health services, receive dental care information, sample healthy treats and get advice from a host of medical professionals.
“Many of our employees are from the San Joaquin Valley and we felt strongly about having our local community of healthcare professionals gather and interact with our company,” explained Mr Dever.
Chef Maria Zebrowski was also on hand to demonstrate fast and healthy recipes for those to prepare at home as well as serving a tasty yet nutritional lunch that included Firecracker Chicken on the barbecue.
“It was so nice to see our employees and their families take the time to stay committed to their health and come and enjoy,” said Tristan Kieva, Director of Marketing & Business Development, who helped coordinate the event along with Monica Marquez, Pandol’s Human Resources Manager.
