John Loughlin Zespri

Zespri chairman John Loughlin has been awarded a prestigious honour for his achievements and contributions to the success of the New Zealand-based kiwifruit marketer, as well as a host of other organisations.

During last week's annual general meeting for the New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants, Mr Loughlin received the organisation's Fellowship, making him one of only 24 members to be conferred this year.

'John has been involved with Zespri for over seven years and has played a pivotal role in directing the organisation's growth and success over this period,' said Zespri CEO Lain Jager. 'We are delighted that John has been honoured by the Institute for his achievements and contributions and we are extremely proud to have a person of his calibre as our chairman.'

Fellowships from the Institute are high-level awards, conferred on members who demonstrate excellence and achievement in their fields, bringing distinction to accounting and promoting core values such as quality, integrity and expertise.
