The United States Department of Agriculture's (USDA) Foreign Agricultural Service, along with B-FOR international, has invited companies to exhibit organic produce on the US pavilion at Biofach 2010.
The event, which takes place in Nuremburg, Germany, on 17-20 February next year, is a leading international organic trade exhibition for the food and beverage industry, and attracted over 2,700 exhibitors and over 46,000 visitors in 2009.
According to the USDA, exhibiting at the US Pavilion will provide US exporters and distributors with an easy, cost-effective way to promote organic products, while also learning first-hand about regional market trends.
The European region is the fourth largest agricultural, fish and forestry export region for the US, totalling nearly US$13bn (€8.6bn) in fiscal year 2008.
