FRESH2010

Representatives from Russian giants Nevskaya Co. and RGS will look closely at the emerging trends on the Russian fresh produce market at FRESH, Europe’s leading fresh fruit and vegetable conference, which will be held for the first time in St. Petersburg on 13-15 April 2010.

Organised by Eurofruit Magazine and Freshfel Europe, FRESH will take place at the Corinthia Hotel, the new five-star business and conference hotel on St. Petersburg’s famous Nevsky Prospect. This year’s programme focuses on the exciting changes already under way in Russia, as new opportunities open up to the fresh produce business on the back of the continued growth in consumer spending power and sale of more produce through major supermarkets.

Keeping a close eye on Russia’s emergence as a major import hub for fresh fruit and vegetables, speakers Boris Planer from Planet Retail, Oleg Rogozin of Bavaria and OKEY’s Dmitriy Sharikov will open the conference. Meanwhile, key industry representatives Bruno de Canson of Dow AgroSciences, Alberto Volpano of the EU Embassy, Andriy Yarmak of Fruit-Inform and Tatiana Crooijmans of Rabobank will offer delegates advice on how to better your business prospects within the Russian market.
