Emirates SkyCargo plane and cargo

Emirates SkyCargo has been rewarded for its efforts by taking home the Gold Award at the annual Air Cargo Excellence Awards, which took place at the IATA World Cargo Symposium in Vancouver, Canada.

Award winners were elected by a survey covering freight forwarders across the globe, who rated airlines based on a number of different factors including customer service, performance, value and information technology.

As part of the awards, Air Cargo World unveiled the findings of its sixth annual Air Cargo Excellence (ACE) Survey, measuring carriers and airports on specific criteria and ranking them to identify performance levels.

'The results of the ACE Survey are important to cargo airlines because it is our customers who rate our performance,' said Ram Menen, Emirates' divisional senior vice-president cargo. 'We strive for excellence in all areas of our business and are thrilled that our customers rate us so highly.

Emirates has already received a number of excellence awards this year, including the International Cargo Airline of the Year at Air Cargo India in Mumbai, and the Gold award in ATW AdAward's Cargo Services category in Singapore.
