HSBC, the official banking partner of the Wimbledon tennis tournament, next week launches its third initiative to promote the competition in New York.
“HSBC presents Wimbledon 2010 at Rockefeller Center” will feature a week of complimentary activities from 21-25 June, including live screenings and the chance to play tennis on Manhattan’s only grass court.
Strawberries and cream, traditionally consumed at Wimbledon, will be served daily, supplied by California Giant Berry Farms.
According to the group, 75,000 strawberries are expected to be consumed by the public in downtown Manhattan during the event.
California Giant Berry Farms will also be providing health and fitness advice at the opening of the event, as well as tennis clinics for children from the City Parks Foundation.
