One of the world’s leading fresh produce companies, Europe’s leading citrus producing region, a leading freight forwarding company and a major wholesaler from central Europe are among the latest companies and organisations to join the long list of exhibitors to sign up for this year's Asia Fruit Logistica, according to the event's organisers.

Dole Asia, PGI Valencian Citrus, DHL Global Forwarding and Cerozfrucht from the Czech Republic are among the latest companies and organisations to confirm plans to exhibit at this year’s Asia Fruit Logistica, Asia’s only fresh fruit and vegetable trade fair, which takes place at Hong Kong’s Convention and Exhibition Centre on 8-10 September 2010.

'Asia Fruit Logistica is attracting exhibitors from all over the world,' said Gérald Lamusse, managing director of Global Produce Events, which organises the event in cooperation with Asiafruit Magazine. 'Exhibitor numbers are up by more than 15 per cent on last year. It demonstrates the growing interest all over the world in the Asian fresh produce market.'

More than 250 exhibitors from Asia and the rest of the world are due to take part at the three-day trade show, including major companies and organisations from China, Japan, Korea, Thailand, Philippines, Thailand and Malaysia, as well as the US, Australia, New Zealand, Chile, Argentina, Peru, South Africa, Egypt, Turkey, France, Italy, Spain Netherlands, Belgium, Greece, Germany, Austria and the UK.

Visitors to this year’s Asia Fruit Logistica can already buy their entrance tickets in advance. The official online ticket shop offers the chance to buy entrance tickets at reduced rates and to gain special online discounts to Asiafruit Congress, Asia’s only fresh produce conference event which was launched 15 years ago and which runs alongside Asia Fruit Logistica.

More than 3,500 trade visitors from the fresh produce business all over the world are expected to travel to Hong Kong this coming September, with two-thirds of all visitors coming from Asia and over 80 per cent of all visitors in key buying roles in their companies or organisations.

According to Global Produce Events, almost nine out of 10 visitors have a positive overall impression of the event.
