Spanish fresh produce marketer Serrano Molto has made its first shipment of citrus to Brazil, with the fruit destined for several leading national retailers and São Paulo wholesale market.
In a statement, the Valencia-based company said a container-load of oranges, under its own Saltamontes premium brand, left the Port of Valencia bound for Brazil on 26 November.
Serrano Molto said it was already preparing further shipments of lemons, pomelos and clementines for the Brazilian market.
The company said: “Through this, Brazilian consumers will be able to count on a complete offer of new season Valencian citrus.”
