The shipping group Orient Overseas Container Line (OOCL) will open its new dedicated feeder service between Singapore and Surabaya in Indonesia this Monday.
The Surabaya Feeder Service (SBY) will be OOCL’s first dedicated run to Indonesia’s second largest city.
It will run one 1,200 TEU ship weekly to or from Surabaya to ports throughout Asia, Europe and North America.
The company said the SBY service will address a shortage of slot availability in the shipping market.
