Rijk Zwaan has revealed that it welcomed Vietnam Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung to its headquarters in De Lier last week, to allow him to learn more about the group's activities in southeast Asia.
The vegetable seed specialist's management team welcomed the Prime Minister on Thursday 29 September, hosting a presentation on its Asian initiatives and introducing him to its range of products.
Sjaak ven der Tak, mayor of Westland, was also present for the visit, which concluded with a presentation on Rijk Zwaan's phytopathological research centre.
Tan Dung was in the Netherlands for a five-day visit, during which he also met with Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte and Her MajestyQueen Beatrix.
