Global Berry Congress 2012 logo

Following its success in California last year, the Global Berry Congress returns to London on 26 April 2012 to tackle key issues currently affecting the international berry business and to offer insights into what the future may hold for the category.

Some of the sector's leading experts are due to take part in the discussions, focusing on topics including: how the sector's recent success can be sustained indefinitely; what consumers, marketers and retailers want from new berry varieties; and how suppliers and marketers can tackle the lucrative Asian market.

Speakers recently confirmed include James Waddy, category manager for berries at Tesco (UK), and Theo Houwen, managing director of Driscoll's for Europe, Middle East & Africa (located in the Netherlands), who will both speak about the potential for expanding the berry sector across a number of European markets.

Also speaking is Ed Garner, communications director at Kantar Worldpanel (UK), who will offer a close look at some of the latest consumer trends affecting fresh berry sales in Europe, while Andy Jackson, category manager for soft fruit at Asda/IP (UK), will share his views on the kinds of promotional tactics that can be adopted in order to boost berry sales.

Join some 250 top berry professionals at Global Berry Congress and take advantage of ample networking breaks specially designed to help delegates make long lasting and valuable contacts to further your business.

See you in London!
