Leading Australian almond grower-packer-exporter Select Harvests has announced the appointment of Nicki Anderson to its board as a non executive director.
Anderson brings extensive experience in the branded food business, having held senior positions with SPC Ardmona, McCain, Kraft and Nestle. She most recently served as managing director with the Blueprint Group, concentrating on sales, marketing and merchandising within retail sales channels.
Anderson is currently a non executive director on the board of the Australian Made campaign.
“The strong mix of leadership, innovation and experienced gained in global organisations is closely aligned to the skill sets which will enhance the breadth and depth of the board,” Michael Iwaniw, chairman of Select Harvests, said in a statement.
The company expects to commence its 2016 harvest at the end of February, with crop volume estimates similar to last year.
