Leading Australian stonefruit grower-packer-exporter Cutri Fruit has appointed Robert Lumley as production/factory manager for its state-of-the-art facility in Victoria.
Lumley brings vast and varied experience to role, having worked in the dairy industry for the past 14 years. He has worked for companies such as King Island Dairy and Riverina Cheese Group in roles ranging from production manager to cheese maker. Lumleyhas also worked in the fresh lettuce industry with One Harvest and in the chemical industry with Orica.
In a bid to compliment its well-established stonefruit offer, Cutri Fruit is looking to expand into avocados at its production hub on the Murray River, in north-west Victoria.
Cutri Fruit’s packaging facility is also set to undergo a substantial overhaul when it changes its IR fruit blemish sorting technology over to MAF.
