Precision agricultural technology firm CropLogic has capped off a busy past six months by being named one of the most promising early stage companies at New Zealand’s Technology Investment Network 100 Awards (TIN100 Awards).

The Christchurch-based group's proprietary technology gives growers daily prescriptions for applying water and nitrogen, together with a rolling yield forecasts.

CropLogic was among the ten shortlisted firms awarded most promising early stage companies at the TIN100 Awards, which recognise New Zealand’s leading technology exporters.

“CropLogic is proud to be recognised at the 2016 TIN100 Awards alongside so many innovative New Zealand companies,” said Jamie Cairns, chief executive officer of CropLogic.

“The award comes at a time when New Zealand’s technology export sector is really starting to establish itself on an international stage. We’re delighted to be part of that, and to be contributing to the country’s economic success.”

On 14 July,CropLogic announced it had successfully closed its offer on a crowd funding platform and had appointed Ventnor Capital as its corporate advisors, in preparation for the company’s anticipated listing on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX).

“Our aim at CropLogic is to become the leading provider of end-to-end agronomy services to global crop-growers,” said Cairns. “This award [TIN100] reinforces CropLogic’s commitment to increase the company’s shareholder growth potential through an ASX listing.”
