NTUC FairPrice to handle Esso revamp

Apples, avocados and kiwifruit are among the fresh fruit lines that will be stocked in remodelled Esso petrol stations across Singapore, according to IGD Retail Analysis.

Leading retailer NTUC FairPrice is handling the revamp of the Esso convenience stores, which will see fruit sold alongside a new ready-to-eat range in refrigerated cabinents.

The stores will also house self-service locker for parcel collection and returns of online shopping.

All 62 Esso stores across Singapore will be revamped over the next two years. The move comes after rival convenience chain 7-Eleven Singapore announced its plans to launch larger stores in the Asian nation.
