To mark Wan Dek, otherwise known as National Children’s Day in Bangkok, Thailand, French apple exporter Blue Whale is organising a promotion with children from Saint Peter Thonburi, a kindergarten and primary school of up to 3,000 pupils.
Blue Whale’s aim is to introduce its apples to the schoolchildren, and this year the kids will get to taste the Candine variety, a new red apple from French breeder Agro Séléctions Fruits.
With the help of the Blue Whale mascot, the children will learn about the apple’s production in French orchards and the care taken by the producers to get them to their destination.
“This action is always a success,” the company stated in a press release.
