The South Korean office of the New Zealand Chamber of Commerce opened on Wednesday this week, its 15 members including kiwifruit marketer Zespri, according to English.chosun.com.
At the head of the new office is Les Edwards, vice president of Lee & DDB.
“We will forge an emotional bond, beyond an economic perspective,” said Mr Edwards. “We will make efforts to draw people’s attention so that a free trade agreement can be concluded between the two countries.”
The new office has been nicknamed the ‘Kiwi Chamber of Commerce’.
