Sun World International has appointed three new staff to its sales department; Gene Coughlin, Rick Paul and Denise Smith.
Mr Coughlin will take up the mantle of category director for citrus, watermelon and peppers, having previously been category managers for tree fruit and citrus with Sun World.
The position of category director of table grapes and stonefruit will pass to Rick Paul, who has 20 years of produce sales experience, 16 of those spent with Sun World as category manager for grapes and stonefruit.
Denise Smith will become sales planning manager. Ms Smith has been with Sun World since 1997, when she joined the company as sales support manager.
“In addition to making us more focused and efficient, these changes will allow us to get to know our customers’ needs so that we are not only providing them with high quality produce, but with innovative solutions that help them move more volume and drive category growth,” said Gordon Robertson, vice president of sales and marketing.
