California, US-based Sunkist Growers has moved to elect its board for 2009 following the group's 115th annual meeting last week, with Nicholas Bozick of Richard Bagdasarian Inc. unanimously re-elected to a fourth term as chairman of the board.
Craig Armstrong of Coachella Valley Citrus and Dunlap Farm Management Company has been re-elected as vice-chairman for the year, alongside James Finch.
Meanwhile, newly elected to the vice-chairmanship is Gerald Denni, general manager of Golden Valley Citrus in Strathmore and a Sunkist member since 1986.
Bringing the board total to 27 are: Lee Bailey, William Chaney, Steve Cutting, Rob Davis, Donald Dames, Harold Edwards, Mark Gillette, John Grether, Russell Katayama, Gary Laux, Manuel Martinez, Eric Meling, Samuel Mayhew, Tom Mazzetti, Martin Mittman, Dick Neece, Cecilia Perry, Richard Pidduck, Kevin Riddle, Gary Romoff, Chuck Sheldon, Randy Veeh and Bruce Wileman.
