Fresh Produce Malaysia

Key players from the international fruit and vegetable industry will head to Kuala Lumpur on 15-17 March 2010 for Fresh Produce Malaysia, where delegates will see expert speakers discussing some of the region's crucial fresh produce trends.

The preliminary programme sees two discussions on Day One of the conference, kicking off with 'Fresh perspectives on consumer marketing', followed by 'Modern retail in Malaysia: opportunities and challenges'.

Day Two kicks off with a debate on Good Agricultural Practice in 'Bridging the GAP: the certification debate', before 'Innovation in Malaysia's fresh produce category' sees delegates hear about the steps that can be taken by the country to further diversify its offering.

The afternoon session of Day Two begins with 'The opportunity for imports: new suppliers to Malaysia', before closing with session on new technologies in 'Finding a cutting edge: new supply chain solutions'.

Day Three is set to feature optional production tours, with further details to follow shortly.
