International kiwifruit marketer Zespri has reportedly awarded its regional branding brief for south and south-east Asia to TBWA Singapore after inviting companies to pitch for the work towards the end of last year.

According to a report on the Asian edition of Media, TBWA Singapore will lead Zespri's marketing promotions across the two regions from its Singapore headquarters, setting up 360-degree advertising services, digital services and consumer marketing programmes for the Zespri brand in key markets.

Dan Paris, managing director at TBWA Group Singapore, said: 'We are absolutely delighted to be working with a brand of this stature.'

Daniel Mathieson, regional market manager for Zespri in south-east Asia, said the marketer had been impressed by TBWA's approach to the brief.

'The team at TBWA Singapore have shown that they really understand the unique values of the business and we are delighted to be working with them as we continue to develop our business across Asia.'
