California-based agribusiness company Sun World International has expended its range of branded fresh produce with the reintroduction of two sweet and mild peppers under registered trademarks.
Just in time for the US state's pepper season, Le Rouge Royale, sweet red pepper and Le Jaune Royale, a sweet yellow pepper, have been relaunched with new logos and packaging.
"The name Le Rouge Royale still resonates with the trade today, said Gordon Robertson, Sun World's vice-president of sales and marketing. "We’re hoping to build on that lasting brand impression and drive it to the consumer level with a refreshed logo, newly branded packaging and support of retailers’ merchandising programmes."
The newly designed packaging includes a six-count Le Rouge Royale sweet red peppers bag featuring the new logo, appetising graphics and recipes, along with details about the nutritional benefits of Le Rouge Royale sweet peppers.
The range will also include branded 25lb (11.3kg) and 15lb (6.8kg) cartons.
"This is just another step in bringing brand solutions that will help the pepper offerings of our retail partners stand out amongst the competition, driving category growth in an environment where shoppers are brand conscious and loyal," Mr Robertson added.
