There are only a few days left to save 20 per cent on registration fees for Eurofruit Congress Southern Hemisphere, the annual conference and exhibition event for the region’s fresh produce industry, which takes place in Uruguay on 1-3 December.

Held at the Conrad Hotel in Uruguay’s popular tourist resort of Punta del Este, Eurofruit Congress Southern Hemisphere will bring together the region's top decision-makers from the fresh fruits and vegetables business. In particular, Uruguay’s Minister of Agriculture Tabaré Aguerre will open the event and be on hand for discussions.

Other programme highlights include a look at exciting new markets such as Asia, Russia and the Middle East, offering big opportunities and sustainable growth in the long term. Key speakers from Lantao (China), buyers of premium fruit for the Chinese market, will offer insights on how to crack these alternative markets.

Damco International’s Ole Shack Petersen will share tips on efficient logistics, while Carel van Oosterzee, from NSure (The Netherlands), will tell delegates about the most effective ways to cut costs in the supply chain and demonstrate the considerable benefit this will bring to a company worried about costs.

Delegates will learn from Jorge Caputto, Caputto Group (Uruguay), on how Southern Hemisphere suppliers can meet the complex market requirements for clean, green, and safe food, as well as outlining future challenges they may face.

Eurofruit Congress Southern Hemisphere is the event for anyone in the fresh produce industry looking to maximise their business' potential. With over 300 delegates from around the world, it promises to be an unmissable three days.

Register online by 1 November and save 20 per cent on registration fees. There are further savings available for groups of colleagues and South American delegates wishing to attend.
