Exhibitors planning to attend Asia Fruit Logistica 2011, the regions leading trade show for the fruit and vegetable industry, have until 28 February to book a stand.

This year’s show takes place from 7-9 September at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, Hong Kong.

Around 4,100 buyers and trade visitors from 60 countries attended last year’s show.

Tony Gibbs, chairman of New Zealand agri-business Turners and Growers said the 2010 event provided a platform for the company to highlight its products and increase brand awareness.

“Our stand has been mobbed everyday. There's been a constant stream of high-quality buyers from all major retailers and wholesalers around Asia, and many from around the world,” he said of last year’s show.

Some of the companies that have already confirmed their stands for this year’s show include Pink Lady Apples, NatureSeal, Rijk Zwaan Export BV, Berda Fruit, and Bayer Cropscience.

Exhibitors are encouraged to book now to ensure a place at the show for their company.
