Frédéric Descrozaille has been named as the new managing director of Interfel, the French interprofessional fruit and vegetables organisation has announced.
Mr Descrozaille has held various positions within the agricultural sector, notably at the French Confederation of Agricultural Cooperation (CFCA) and the Permanent Assembly of Chambers of Agriculture (APCA).

Lain Jager, acting chief executive officer at New Zealand-based group Zespri, has outlined the company’s targets for the upcoming 2008/09 season. He said that the group’s top priority was to deliver returns to kiwifruit growers of at least 65 cents above last year’s average per tray return.
