A recent Sino-Dutch business dinner in Shanghai has highlighted how international companies are working together in China.
In a show of unity seed supplier Rijk Zwaan, Chiquita, and Tesco presented Dutch vice prime minister and minister for economic affairs, agriculture and innovation Maxime Verhagen with a bag of vegetables.
In a media release from Rijk Zwaan, the company noted it had enjoyed a successful working relationship with vegetable processor and distributor Chiquita, and retailer Tesco, for many years in China.
“This collaboration is not only a good example of cooperation within the chain, but also of how Dutch innovation can be applied in an upcoming market such as China,” said Rijk Zwaan chain manager Jan Doldersum.
