Discount retailer Lidl has announced that it has appointed a new managing director for its Austrian operation, effective 11 August.
The company, which is owned by German organisation Schwarz Group, has handed the role to Brendan Proctor, replaces the outgoing Hanno Riegler who has left for personal reasons.
Proctor has previously worked at Lidl's Irish segment, before taking up the position of sales director for Lidl Austria earlier in the year, Planet Retail reported.
