Ulrich Spieckermann, export manager of leading Italian fresh produce company Mazzoni Group, has announced he is to take up a new position with German retail giant Edeka from the middle of September.
Mr Spieckermann, who has worked with Mazzoni for the past 22 years, said he had decided to join the retailer in order to 'accept a new personal challenge'.
'I would like to thank everybody for the support and enjoyable collaboration we've had during the past few years,' said Mr Spieckermann.
He also underlined that Mazzoni would continue to operate in the same way as before.
