Metro Group's Croatian Metro Cash & Carry operation in has opened the firststore under its compact Metro Pro format, according to limun.hr and reported by Planet Retail.
The new outlet is located in Varazdin, northern Croatia and boasts a sales area of 1,600m2, with some 3,500 items.
According to Planet Retail, the smaller format has been already launched in other countries under the name Metro Punct and Metro Baza.
