US-based global fresh produce marketer Vanguard International has announced that Will Mehrten is rejoining the company on 2 September 2008.
Mr Mehrten left Vanguard in November 2006 to work in the wine business, but after a 22-month stint in that field, he is rejoining the company as vice-president of global procurement and business development.
'Will's primary responsibilities will be working with our growers, packers and suppliers around the world as well as developing new business in general,' said Vanguard International's CEO Craig Stauffer.
