Netherlands-based pool organisation Euro Pool System International has announced that group chief executive officer Arie de Bruijn will retire from the company on 31 December.
Industry veteran Peter Willems will succeed Mr de Bruijn on 1 January, and will work alongside the company's chief financial officer Louis Selleslags
Under Mr de Bruijn's leadership, Euro Pool System has become the largest returnable transport packaging logistics operators in Europe, with over 110m crates in rotation.
Euro Pool System International has 45 depots across Europe, employing 145 people throughout seven countries. Turnover in 2007 totalled €147m.
