Leading Andalucian fruit and vegetable interprofessional group Hortyfruta has announced the integration into its organisation of Ecohal-Granada, an association that represents major fresh produce marketers in Granada.

In a statement, Hortyfruta said the integration of Ecohal-Granada would help the organisation to become “even stronger” within Andalucia’s fresh produce sector and would take the group a step closer towards uniting all the region’s fruit and vegetable associations.

Hortyfruta added that “certain formalities” still remained before Ecohal-Granada was fully integrated into the organisation, but said it expected these to be dealt with by the group’s forthcoming general assembly meeting.
