North American produce giant, the Oppenheimer Group, has hired Julia Hashim as a fresh face to promote its fresh produce.
Hashim recently joined the group as its new business development representative at Oppy’s Newark, Delaware-based office.
The company said Hashim will focus on executing effective promotions for primary brands, providing solutions for retailers, and creating interest in and excitement for each of Oppenheimer’s key categories at retail.
Before joining Oppenheimer, Hashim worked as a business operations associate for TEKsystems in Hanover, Maryland, where she was responsible for customer service and financial forecasting and analysis.
“Julia has a strong knowledge of the agricultural business and solid customer service experience that lends itself well to this position,” said Oppenheimer’s director of marketing and business development James Milne.
“We are delighted to have the newfound enthusiasm, energy and fresh look on the business that Julia will provide for us.”
