Retailers from 27 countries will gather in Guayaquil on 14-15 May for the III Business Macro-Round organised by trade promotion agency Pro Ecuador. The event, which will be attended by 500 Ecuadorian exporters, seeks to promote exports of the country’s traditional and non-traditional products.
The event is one of the most important in Pro Ecuador’s calendar, as it gives exposure to the country’s entire portfolio of exportable products including those from the agro-industry, fishery and aquaculture and processed food sectors. Bananas and non-traditional fruits will be two of the sectors showcased at this year’s event.
“This Macro-round has become one of the most important events for Pro Ecuador, since for two consecutive years it has accomplished to generate short and medium-term businesses between Ecuadorian exporters and buyers assistant,” the organisation said.
