Brazilian stevedores are due to stage a nationwide strike on Tuesday in protest over hiring and pension practices.
Inchcape Shipping Services’ (ISS) Brazilian operation said the indefinite strike, organised by the Union of Stevedores, is expected to affect stevedore operations in all ports across Brazil and cause significant delays with cargo operations from unless an early resolution can be reached with the Brazilian Federal Government.
ISS said it will continue to monitor events and will provide updates through its website.
